Backhausdance evening length work
Backhausdance Artistic Director, Jennifer Backhaus, to Choreograph New
Evening-Length Work for 2010 Spring Season
For the first time in her illustrious choreographic career,
Backhausdance Artistic Director, Jennifer Backhaus has announced she
will create an evening-length work.
This new piece is based on the theme of illumination-a work
Backhausdance will perform in its upcoming spring season on tour in
New York and its third annual self-produced concert at the Irvine
Barclay Theater.
In order to devote herself fully to the demands of this pivotal new
work, Ms. Backhaus has announced that she will step down as Director
of California Conservatory of Dance in Mission Viejo, a decision that
will allow her to keep up with her demanding schedule and commitment
to the further success of the Backhausdance.
