Anjani Dance Theatre/Anjani Kathak Dance of India "Made in Mumbai II"

Anjani Dance Theatre is celebrated for its groundbreaking repertoire fusing Flamenco, Hip Hop, Bollywood, Folk, Modern dance, and the Indian Kathak. The ensemble is led by Anjani Ambegaokar, who was recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts for her achievements in Kathak dance. The ensemble features her daughter Amrapali, whom the Los Angeles Times described as “a joyous monument to multiculturalism.” Amrapali won a Solo Silver Medal in NBC’s hit show Superstars of Dance.
