Kenneth Walker Dance Project presents "From the Ground Up"

Kenneth Walker Dance Project presents “From the Ground Up” Saturday, August 14, 7:30pm, Martha Knoebel Theatre, CSULB, 6200 East Atherton, St., Long Beach CA 90840. The program premieres “A Little Mozart” costumed by designer Michael Pacciorini, “Drift" set to the commissioned music of composer, Wes Hambright, "Purgatory," Kenneth Walker’s all female ballet reflecting on the cyclical nature of life and the afterlife, the iconic pas de deux "someday, maybe, forever," and the audience favorite "Flesh and Blood." Guests Datugan Dance Theatre and Angela Jordan join the program.

Supported in part by the Arts Council for Long Beach/City of Long Beach, KWDP brings the artist and audience to the poetics of the human condition and believes in the transforming capacity of art and its power to affect human lives.
