Donna Sternberg & Dancers in Categorically Not!

Categorically Not! is a science cabaret where three people from three different fields give short presentations that circle a common theme. On March 7 the role of space and time is explored in relationship to the economy, journalism and interpreting science through dance. DS&D will perform an excerpt from Quantum Entanglement, exploring a scientific phenomenon Einstein described as “spooky action at a distance.” Joining them on the program will be former CFO of Microsoft and past Chairman of the Nasdaq Stock market, Mike Brown who incorporates insights from modern physics and biology to the field of economics, and Marc Cooper, director of Annenberg Digital News at USC, who argues that much of the agonizing over shrinking space and accelerating time in New Media will be outweighed by a democratization of publishing.
