National Choreographers Initiative 2008

Be there for the birth of, not 1, but 4 new ballets created as part of the intensive 3-week process of NCI. Artistic director Molly Lynch invites 4 choreographers and 16 professional dancers from ballet companies across the country, to participate. NCI is a southern California project with national influence. In its 4 years, NCI brought 16 choreographers to California to develop new works, 12 of the pieces begun here have gone on to be premiered or performed elsewhere in the U.S. and abroad.
