Based in Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Beltrão has become an international sensation by using hip-hop to create something new and fresh in the dance world. He is constructing a new place between the worlds of hip-hop and contemporary dance, revolutionizing this popular dance form with a soundscape that includes a wide variety of music, sounds, and complete silence.


Beltrão’s all-male company will perform his newest work “H3” that leaves behind the heavy beats and macho posing, and creates a minimalist, almost meditative, interpretation of hip-hop in which the movement itself becomes its own pulsating rhythm. The Guardian in London calls it "raw 21st-century expression…extraordinarily brilliant."
