Kevin Williamson's FRUIT

HIghways Performance Space presents FRUIT, the evening length premiere by new company KDUB DANCE. FRUIT grapples with the trite, forbidden, and experimental ritual of our discordant beliefs. The five fearless dancers that are Kate Hutter, Arletta Anderson, Nick Heitzeberg, Stephanie Jamieson, alongside creator Kevin Williamson perform to illuminate the emotional discourse of their opposing internal desires of faith and flesh. An audience hungry for visceral storytelling, hard-hitting floor work, and candid gestures of the gut and psyche are invited to partake in an evening designed to smash. The music score is a mash up of electronic and acoustic greats that play on the complex discourse at hand. FRUIT is both sweet and rotten.
