MASTER CLASS with HOLLY JOHNSTON

A B O U T_T H E _C L A S S

Emphasizes kinesthetic awareness, neuromuscular coordination, musicality and spatial acuity. Discovering primal instincts, dancers are encouraged into high speed, off-centered movement so they do not have time to reason but rather instinctively respond to momentum and gravity. The athletic movement language develops upper body strength, body connectivity, core stabilization, articulate joint action and muscular power. Improvisation is incorporated into class as a means to experience spontaneous physical phenomenon and unleash artistry.
