Petite Feet Ballet and Kreative Kids Classes for Kids Ages 3-6

Petite Feet Ballet - 3:30pm: This pre-ballet class incorporates original and familiar songs, imaginative games and dance stories in order to introduce children to age appropriate ballet vocabulary and movement exploration. The emphasis of this class is to provide a fun, creative and safe environment where students begin to become familiar with a dance class experience, as well as to promote self esteem and a joy of moving.

Kreative Kids - 4:30pm: Baby steps will be taken towards a strong foundation of movement and musicality. Emphasis will be on structure and repetition at the beginning of class while slowly developing towards more free form movement at the end. Technique will be taught with a focus on openness and creativity in movement. Props such as scarves and drumsticks will be introduced to illustrate form of motion and to amplify rhythm.

Liz Vacco recently moved to LA from New York City, where she worked as a ballet and early childhood educator, as well as a performer and choreographer, for the past nine years. She taught through New York City Ballet’s Education Program and at various dance studios and public schools throughout the city. She has always been a dancer who acts and an actor who dances, and she draws from both these worlds in her teaching and performance.
