X-factor dance project for young teens
X-Factor is a multidimensional group made up of dancers with training in jazz, modern, or ballet at an intermediate/advanced level. Performers are challenged with a blend of jazz influenced contemporary choreography and mentored on technical and performance skills through stage experience at various events. The group is directed by Raelle Dorfan, an ex-RKDC company member and long time teacher with the Regina Klenjoski Dance Company. X-factor meets Tuesdays from 5:25-6:25pm, beginning on September 22, 2009. Must be at least 8yrs old to join.
Prerequisite: You must audition for this class prior to enrolling. Prior to the audition you must be enrolled in an RKDC dance class; dancers ages 8-12 can register for any RKDC modern/ballet/jazz class; Dancers ages 13+ must register for Modern Ballet 2275.403. Auditions will take place Tuesday, September 22 at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. Ages 8-12 audition at 5:25-6:25pm in Studio 2; ages 13+ audition at 4:20 -5:20pm in Studio 2.
