Int/Adv Contemporary Modern

Intermediate/advanced contemporary modern dance continues in the development of creative movement as a form of expression. The class will focus on increasing bodily strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and rhythm in a more challenging way. Progressions across the floor start basic, then get more intricate and involved. Freedom of movement and personal style will be encouraged. The center combinations incorporate modern, contemporary, and lyrical styles and utilize isolations, articulation of the spine, footwork, lines and more detailed jumping.
