FLAMENCO with Briseyda Zarate

Briseyda teaches on-going 6 week Flamenco dance workshops. Classes focus on flamenco technique, including, "taconeo" (footwork), "braceo" (arm/body work) and "compas" (rhythm/musicality). Short combinations and longer choreographies are taught depending on the level. Students are exposed to Flamenco dance as an art-form in conjunction with "cante" (song), "toque" (guitar) and "palmas" (hand percussion).

7-8 pm Beginning/Intermediate Technique
8-9 pm Advanced Technique & Choreography
